Additional Save Options

Option Description
View View the word details after saving
Continue Creating Continue adding new words after saving
Continue Editing Stay on the editing page after saving

Tip

When adding a large number of words, enable the "Continue Creating" option before clicking Submit so you don't return to the list each time.

Editing an Existing Word

  1. From the list page, click the โ‹ฎ (three dots) icon in the "Operations" column next to the word you want to edit.
  2. Select "Edit" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Modify the required fields (word, severity, action, etc.).
  4. Click "Submit" to save the changes.

Disabling / Enabling a Word

You can temporarily disable a word without deleting it by changing the "Active" status from yes to no. This is useful if you want to temporarily stop filtering a specific word without losing the settings.

Important Tips

Best Practices

  • Start with the Filter action โ€” Use filtering as the default action for most words, and reserve banning for critical cases only.
  • Add the word in all its forms โ€” Add the word with and without diacritics, and with common misspellings.
  • Review the list regularly โ€” Make sure to update the list regularly to add new words that may appear.
  • Use severity levels wisely โ€” Classify words correctly to make managing and filtering them easier later.
  • Support all languages โ€” Enter words in all available languages to ensure comprehensive coverage for all users.

Warning

  • The Ban action automatically bans the user โ€” use it only for extremely dangerous words.
  • Make sure not to add normal words that may appear within other words by mistake (e.g., adding "hell" might affect the word "hello").
